Jo Wood Organics is the creation of Jo Wood, wife of Rolling Stone Ronnie and founder of this luxurious organic skin care range.

Jo Wood was first introduced to organic ingredients by an herbalist called Gerald Green, after she was misdiagnosed with an illness. Gerald educated her on organic food and the pesticides and chemicals that are used in farming. This was the start of Jo Wood’s organic journey and it has become her passion. After learning about what she was putting inside her body, she made a natural progression and learnt about what she was using on body. Jo Wood started mixing her own oils and years after she decided to turn it into a business.

Jo Woods Organics features different fragrance lines, Amka and Usiku, Tula and Langa. These are Swahili names. Amka means to wake, and Usiku means night. Organic Apoteke proprietary pentapeptide complex, derived solely from organic botanicals, is a nutrient delivery system that reaches the deep levels of the dermis. The result is a smoother, firmer and more conditioned skin. After just a couple of minutes upon application on my face, I feel the ‘blush’ effect and the tightening of my skin, caused by the nutrients improving microcirculation in my dermis.
