Rosa Fina Face Lotion Reviews

Review of Rosa Fina Face Lotion Reviews
by Shona B.
Packaging: The Rosa Fina Face Lotion comes in a nice chunky glass bottle with a plastic squirty top. Unfortunately the plastic cap didn’t survive Royal Mail. The glass is clear so no mad panic when you suddenly realize you only have a day or so of product left! It is stylishly designed with some information on what to expect from the product on the front and a bit about the ingredients and brand on the back. The writing is printed on the bottle so no cheap looking stuck on labels to ruin the sleek lines but it is tiny so you may need a magnifying glass. The pump is great (see below) but, and this may be because I don’t have a cap, product does tend to collect on it meaning you have wipe it before use (crusty face lotion is not nice!).

The only negative is that a lot of the products in the Rosa Fina range have similar packaging and the actual words “face lotion” are tiny so first thing in the morning, half asleep it seems a lot of effort to make sure I’m using a face lotion and not a foot cream!

Application: Top marks to the designers of the Rosa Fina Face Lotion dispenser! We’ve all been there, desperately pumping the bottle with one hand to get just enough product to use, whilst trying to hold it and not loose any product we’ve actually managed to get out! Not easy! It’s also incredibly frustrating when one pump delivers far too much lotion and you’re left wondering what to do with the excess. Well, the pump on the face lotion bottle is pretty perfect, it’s big and easy to use and one pump delivers just about the right amount of product to do the face and neck, and a second pump is great for the décolleté.

The bright white lotion has a sort of whipped texture; it’s really light and soft. It soaks into my oily skin super fast, leaving it matt and smooth. I’m always dubious with creams because my skin seems to prefer oils but this product leaves my skin, and me, happy! I have had no adverse effect either by way of increased oil production or dullness, which creams sometimes evoke. I don’t know if the light texture might not be nourishing enough for very dry skins.

And the smell… oh the smell is gorgeous! Now when I received the Rosa Fina Face Lotion I originally thought “Rose, ewwwww, I’ll smell like my gran’s soaps” but I was so wrong! The smell is strong and it does linger but it actually smells like you’ve stuck your nose in the flower, rather than like a product trying to smell like roses. It’s sort of musky and summery at the same time; very feminine and pretty. I have grown to love the smell of this product and I normally dislike strong floral scents.

Ingredients: The bottle states the ingredients are 100% ethically sourced plant-derived ingredients. They include argan oil, lady’s mantel and rosa mosqueta. The Rosa Fina Face Lotion claims to help firm skin as well as leave it soft and “joyous”. I’ve not noticed a firming action but given my age I would be worried if I had! However my skin was soft and it did make me joyous!

Results: I’ve been desperately trying to find a face moisturizer, which is as natural as possible but does the job. I may well have found it! And, it’s a product which is completely natural and very affordable. Fantastic!
Truth be told I noticed no firming action and my skin didn’t drastically change however my skin was soft, calm, non-irritated, not clogged and happy. I didn’t turn into an oil slick but nor did my skin suddenly resemble the Sahara. Make up, and indeed sun protection went over the product easily and I didn’t have to wait hours for it to sink in. The bottle will last a really long time because of the ease of application and it has completely changed my perception of rose scents. The Rosa Fina Face Lotion bottle has the line “joie de vivre” and I agree, joyous happy, rose scented days!

Pros:
Easy to use
Sinks in fast
Wonderful smell
Very affordable
Cons:
Very strong scent may not appeal to all
Will mean I now have to buy more products in the range! Great for me, not great for my bank balance!
Best For:
Me! And, as long as they promise not to buy all the stock, anyone who wants an easy to use light, sinks in fast good moisturizer.

NEW Lily Lolo Makeup

Lily Lolo just in!
We love the new range of Lily Lolo Mineral Cosmetics, the richly pigmented colours and the fact that they are free from toxic chemicals.
Lily Lolo offers a fantastic mineral powder, giving a beautiful and flawless finish and it's also really well priced. Use a Kabuki brush to apply the Lily Lolo mineral foundation (£12). Even if wearing it for outdoor activities or festivals, the finish should remain flawless and dewy.
Lily Lolo concealer (£7) is really good at covering spots and looks really natural while being very affordable. As with most mineral makeup powders, it can be quite messy the first couple of times you use the powders but you get used to it.
My personal favourite is the Waikiki Lily Lolo bronzer (£12), perfect for this time of the year. This is a silky soft 100% natural product which gives a golden glow without the after effects. With a natural SPF, a mineral bronzer is the safest choice for the summer and for a gentle sun-kissed complexion, glamorous finish Waikiki is perfect.
Lily Lolo range of mineral cosmetics (from £5) is now available at Naturisimo.com

Trilogy Rosehip oil Reviews

Reviews of Trilogy Rosehip oil
By Beverly S.
Packaging: Dark glass bottle to protect the oil from light with a petite pipette top for precise quantity of oil for each application.Trilogy Skin Care Buff and red coloured label clearly stating the nature of the oil & the fact it is advanced skincare.

I have been impressed with the quality of Trilogy’s packaging as the petite pipette has remained intact delivering the oil precisely throughout the course. I have used another brand with the same style of bottle but have found the dropper became worn with constant use. Trilogy’s is perfect.

Application: Trilogy’s rosehip oil is very easy to apply & is one of the best I have tried. After cleansing & toning I placed three drops on my finger tips, warmed the oil with both hands massaging then gently tapping the oil (like little rain drops) unto my face. I was amazed at how quickly my skin absorbed the oil even though I have dry skin sometimes intense oil take longer to absorb. I didn't notice a strong smell using Trilogy’s ultra fine rosehip oil.

I was pleasantly surprised to note I could use under my eye area which I am sure helped in boosting the effects of my eye cream.

Trilogy's oil didn't sting, drip or remain oily it was skin perfect!

Comments: Trilogy’s rosehip oil naturally contains the optimum levels of unique fatty acids essential to skin health. It can be used on both face and body which makes the oil most versatile & contains a minimum of 80% essential fatty acids. Trilogy use certified organic rosehip oil which is reassuring as it is the first product I used on my skin after cleansing & toning.

I enjoyed using Trilogy’s rosehip oil so much I ordered their cream cleanser & facial mist toner both of which reflected the same quality of packaging & results.

Results: Within a short time I saw results! My skin felt moisturized even before I used a moisturizer. I had no problems using the Trilogy rosehip oil morning & evening; at no time did my skin feel greasy. I felt radiant but even better the radiance & softness of my skin was commented on which proved to me the benefits of adding the ultra fine rosehip oil into my routine. My skin tone looked more even & a patch of redness on my chin became less obvious, in fact I barely notice the redness which was a concern for me.

Pros: It works to improve most skin concerns face & body

Simply wonderful - I would purchase

Even skin tone

Improved elasticity

Comments on my radiance seem to have lost the dullness from my complexion confidence boosting. I don't see any issues for people with oily skin as the oil absorbs beautifully

Cons: I didn't have any apart from the fact I will need a huge bottle now!

Trilogy Rosehip Oil 20ml (£16), 45ml (£28) and Trilogy Products are Available From Naturisimo.com

Weleda Baby Calendula Nappy Change Cream Reviews

Review of Weleda Baby Calendula Nappy Change Cream
by Kelly B.

Packaging: The Weleda Baby Calendula Nappy Change Cream comes in a white metal tube with a plastic lid. Being metal, the tube squeezes very easily and in a controlled fashion so you never squeeze out more than needed. Plus the tube material provides maximum freshness of product and protects the natural oils more than a plastic tube would. The plastic lid has ridges which make opening the tube very easy even with wet or oily hands.
The tube is encased in a vibrant yellow cardboard box in two tone yellow giving the feeling of sunshine and calendula flowers. The packaging is very informative and quickly alerts you to Weleda’s natural ingredients and ethics and a sticker on the front of the box states what to expect from Weleda from the beginning ‘Natural, ethical, eco-friendly’.
Application: The texture of the Weleda Baby Calendula Nappy Change Cream is very thick and rich yet very easy to apply as it is so rich in oils it just glides onto the skin. In fact you need to be careful on the initial squeeze of the tube as so generous is the natural oil content that it accumulates at the top. After the first squeeze Weleda Nappy Cream is the same consistency throughout the tube. A little goes a long way with Weleda Nappy Cream and a very small amount gives a thick water tight layer. The cream looks white on the skin (like sun block) due to the zinc oxide content. The generous natural oil content means that this product is very creamy and moist on the skin and the oils feel very soothing. It appears to have an anaesthetic effect as I noticed that it took away pain virtually instantly on application. The fragrance of Weleda Baby Calendula Nappy Change Cream is Calendula flowers with undertones of Chamomile. It is a very clean, fresh and relaxing smell. Despite the thick texture of the cream due to the generous oil content it feels comfortable on the skin. I noticed that it created a water tight barrier which was breathable.
Ingredients: Weleda Baby Calendula Nappy Change Cream importantly is ‘free of synthetic fragrances, colours, preservatives and raw materials derived from mineral oils’. Which is very comforting to know when many leading nappy and antiseptic creams on the market contain most of the above harmful ingredients.
This natural nappy change cream contains pure Beeswax and hydrating Lanolin which together provide a protective layer on the skin. Whilst being rich in soothing and comforting Almond oil (the second ingredient) and Sesame oil this cream will suit the most sensitive of skins. This product contains biodynamically grown Calendula extract so you know you are getting top quality and super potent Calendula, which is known to be anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal not to mention very soothing. According to the enclosed leaflet Calendula also aids ‘the healing process of small wounds, red inflamed skin and skin infections’. The Weleda Nappy Cream and its ingredients are not tested on animals.

Weleda Baby Calendula Nappy Change Cream (£6.50) and Weleda baby products are available from Naturisimo.com
